cmo_logoOn Saturday, May 15, you are invited to join others from across the diocese to celebrate mission and outreach. The event will take place at Holy Apostles at Brighton and Fries in Tonawanda from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Come celebrate the good work parishes and agencies across the diocese are already doing.
  • Discover new mission/outreach possibilities with which your congregation might engage.
  • Network with others who share your passion for mission and outreach.
  • Hear the stories of refugees who have found a new homes and new life here in WNY.
  • Learn about shifts in the world's populations that are bringing new cultures to our doorsteps.
  • Help make the world a better place —bring one or more pairs of gently-used shoes to be donated to Soles for Souls.

presler_2wHeadlining the day will be the Rev. Dr. Titus Presler who is recognized churchwide as one of the leading voices for mission. A former dean of the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX, Presler is also the author of Horizons in Mission in the New Church’s Teaching Series. His newest book Going Global with God: Reconciling Mission in a World of Difference is due out this fall from Church Publishing.

Your registration fee ($15 by Wednesday, May 5 / $20 thereafter) includes a culturally diverse menu featuring African American, Carribean, Ethiopian, Hispanic and Somalian dishes.
