Episcopal Community Services' 2008 Campaign Begins PDF  | Print |  E-mail

The annual campaign to raise funds for Episcopal Community Services kicked off Sunday, February 10 in parishes across the Diocese of Western New York.

Through fifteen member agencies Episcopal Community Services provides critically needed services such as food, shelter and counseling to people in need,

regardless of their race, religion or ethnic background. Last year, more than 50,000 men, women and children  in Western New York received aid thanks to ECS.

Ten percent of pledges received from the campaign will be earmarked for ECS Special Grants, which are awarded to Episcopal parishes in support of their individual outreach efforts.

ECS was incorporated in 1967 as the outreach arm of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York.

Donations to the 2008 fund drive can be mailed to: Episcopal Community Services, 1114 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209.
