| O God, you are ever present among your people and praised in every time and place. Send your Holy Spirit into the hearts and minds of the congregation of St. Peter's, Eggertsville as they seek to discern your will in the commendation of persons to serve among them. Bless them with perseverance and humility to use those gifts, passions, abilities, personalities and experiences that you have given them. Shower them with your grace to respond to the many opportunities and responsibilities of our times; and save them from both complacency and fear of new ways. Keep them open to all who are in need of their love and fellowship. Inspire them with the vision of a world reconciled to you through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen. |
