The General Convention, which meets every three years, is the governing body of The Episcopal Church (TEC). It is a bicameral legislature that includes the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops. Together these tow houses, representing all the dioceses of TEC, carry out the work of the church. The 76th General Convention will meet in Anaheim, CA, July 8-17, 2009.

The lay and clergy deputies that will represent the Diocese of Western New York will be:

The Rev. Kim Baker, first alternate
The Rev. Canon Isaac Ihiasota, second alternate

Ms. Linda Makson

Mr. Howard Gondree, first alternate
Ms. Ann Dicenso, second alternate

Alternates serve if elected deputies become unable to serve.
