Parking

When visiting the D-House, you may park behind the building or in the large lot to the side of our building. On-street parking on Highland Avenue is also an option.

History of House

Built in 1912 by Edward H. Butler, Sr., publisher of The Buffalo Evening News, as a wedding gift for his daughter, the mansion that houses our offices was donated to the diocese  in December of 1950 by Butler's granddaughter, Mrs. Marjorie Mitchell McKinley.
