The General Convention, which meets every three years, is the governing body of The Episcopal Church
(TEC). It is a bicameral
legislature that includes the House of Deputies and the House of
Bishops. Together these tow houses, representing all the dioceses of TEC, carry out the work of the church. The 76th General Convention will meet in Anaheim, CA, July 8-17, 2009.
