Kairos, God's Special Time, is an ecumenical Christian ministry that reaches out to incarcerated individuals, their families and those who work with them. Though clergy play a vital role, Kairos leadership is drawn largely from lay persons who volunteer their time.  

Armed Forces Ministry

The diocese wishes to pray for every member who is serving in our nation's military. Also, we want to provide each individual with the Episcopal Armed Services Cross and the Armed Services Prayerbook. More

Campus Ministry

A number of congregations in WNY have active campus ministries on various college campuses throughout WNY. More 

Police, Fire & Emergency Responder Chaplaincies

Both lay and ordained Episciopalians serve as chaplains to a variey of first responder organizations throughout the diocese. More  

Prison Ministry

One aspect of prison ministry is offering spiritual opportunities for inmate within the walls of a prison during a Kairos weekend. A second, is ministering to those making the transition from prison life back into the mainstream of society. And a third is providing hospitality to families of inmates and other visitors.
